The expansive sprung wooden floor creates the perfect setting for everything from cocktail parties and celebrations to workshops, performances, private parties and functions.

The versatile layout is open and boasts two smaller areas immediately adjacent to the main ballroom allowing you to tailor the space to suit your vision.

Bathed in natural light by day and beautifully lit at night; LHB offers ambient and natural vibes right through to rich, atmospheric and dramatic c colours to suit the vibe of your event.

Food & Drinks

You're welcome to plan an event that reflects your own style, including bringing your own food and drinks, subject to prior agreement and applicable requirements.

LHB does not hold a liquor licence. Hirers wishing to bring their own alcohol must discuss their arrangements with LHB in advance. All alcohol arrangements must comply with New Zealand law. Where a licence or other approval is required, it is the hirer's responsibility to obtain the necessary approval in consultation with LHB before the event.

Hire Periods & Setup

Venue hire is charged by the hour, with rates determined by the type of event, anticipated guest numbers, day and time of hire, and the requirements of the booking.

Premium rates may apply to selected days and time slots. Setup and pack-down time is additional to the event duration and must be included in the booking. The applicable rate will be confirmed in your individual quote.

Events must conclude by midnight unless an extension has been discussed with and approved by LHB in advance. Extended hours may incur additional charges and remain subject to applicable restrictions.
