LHB is a ballroom dancing social club offering classes, social dance events and a vibrant unique space to feel right at home being the dancer you've always known you are! Scott and Hayden are very proud of their Light House baby, though really they can't wait to get a dog.

Our Why!

Light House Ballroom arrived in May 2025 mainly as a result of an "oh shit what now" life situation creating a fork in the road. Despite having no desire whatsoever to own a dance studio, we had a choice to go backwards, sideways or forward, and seeing the potential in an opportunity chose the road that lead forward to LHB! As a result, ballroom dancing has had a kick up the arse and a unique social ballroom environment has come into being. LHB is a 300sqm warehouse in Wairau

LHB have a really great group of Professionals 's instructing our classes. We boast two instructors per class for optimal teaching efficiency and.. Our pro's are also available for expert private tuition. Private lessons are a fantastic option to consider if you want to keep a step ahead or need a catch up on classes, or simply to fast track your progress.
