Who We Are!
Scott Cole
Scott is the owner of Light House Ballroom, a three times former New Zealand Latin Champion, British Closed Finalist and UK Open Professional Latin Quarter Finalist.
​
He is a Dancing With The Stars NZ Alumn partnering Tequila Blakely and K'Lee and specialises in Latin and American Smooth.
He likes frogs, Wonder Woman, house music, house plants and too many puddings. And Hayden.

Hayden Boyce
Hayden is Scotts partner and together they run LHB. Though not a Pro, Hayden is massively talented at ballroom dancing and made high level finals in a major US ProAm championship after only a year of dancing.

He is rather hairy, plays hockey and likes colognes and Drag Race. He likes Scott and loves to tell him what to do.

Hello, I'm Nerida Jantti (formerly Nerida Cortese, and dance has been my heartbeat since before I could even tie my shoes.
I turned a childhood passion into a glittering career that spans over three decades. From the vibrant stages of "Battle of the Ballroom", "So You Think You Can Dance" and "Dancing With The Stars" in New Zealand, my dance journey has been nothing short of a whirlwind adventure.

Born in Australia and now proudly representing NZ internationally, I've competed across the globe in prestigious dance sport competitions. My highlight reel includes finishing runner upon TVNZ's "Dancing With The Stars" in 2005 alongside Shane Cortese, and leading numerous other celebrities through their dance journey on the show.

I am a professional Ballroom & Latin dancer, and certified teacher and judge from Chinas, based in New Zealand.​

I enjoy meeting people and creating a friendly and relaxed learning environment.
​
I teach students of all levels including beginners, competitive dancers and wedding couples. My lessons are friendly, patient and personalised to each student.
​
I love dance and my goal is to help you enjoy dancing, improve step by step and feel confident on the dance floor.

Vanessa Cole
Three times former New Zealand Latin Champion; Vanessa first won the National Title at just 16 years old. She is a captivating performer and a legend of NZ Ballroom Dancing.
​
Winning the 2015 Season of Dancing With The Stars NZ with Simon Barnett made her a household name and sought after coach, choreographer and judge on countless charity dance events throughout the country.

Her unique approach to teaching and how she relates to people makes her an absolute asset to LHB.
​​
Vanessa lives in Nelson with her partner Hara, their two dogs Zippi and Sasha and hens Fee, Fi, Fo, Fum and Heather.
